The Chinese motorcycle market has a new entry in the form of the MV Agusta Italian motorcycle brand.
MV Agusta is launching in China after opening in the Brazilian market as well, and is part of the company’s expansion plan in other world markets.
From a strong tradition in Europe, MV Agusta launched at the “EICMA China Motorcycle Show”, signing a distribution agreement with Lifan Industry Co.
Ltd.
China is one of the most dynamic two-wheeled motorcycle markets in the world, offering plenty of growth and good prospects for at least the next five years.
Obviously there is a focus on luxury brands, and MV Agusta should offer some premium models for a market which has a taste for the exclusive.
MV Agusta in China will start distributing its models by the end of this year, with a new network of dealers.
The aim is to create a solid dealership network with showrooms in major Chinese cities by 2013.
