The famed and infamous Suzuka (for MotoGP after the death of Daijiro Kato) circuit celebrated its 50th Anniversary this past weekend with the festivities organized by Honda who owns the circuit under the Mobilityland Corporation banner.
Besides the usual racing cars, a slew of some of the best racing bikes from the past were also on display, including the Yamaha YZR250, Honda NSR250, Yamaha YZR500, Honda NSR500, the Honda NS500 and last year’s MotoGP World Champion bike, the Honda RC212V and the partecipation of two legendary World Champions like Wayne Gardner and Kevin Schwantz.
