Crutchlow Fastest on Final Day of Testing at Misano

The final day of WSBK testing at the Misano World Circuit saw Cal Crutchlow come out on top in the unofficial test times, with the riders working ahead of finding a good set-up for next week’s eighth championship round.
Crutchlow stopped the clock at 1”36.
2 despite an earlier crash with James Toseland just one tenth of a second behind his team mate.

The Yamaha riders tested different linkages on the bikes along with various electronic settings and also a new radiator design to aid cooling.

Alstare Suzuki’s Leon Haslam and BMW’s Troy Corser both posted the third best time (1.
36″4) Haslam was using the new Ohlins trying to put him on par with the Aprilia RSV4, while Corser used a new rear link.
Max Biaggi who posted the best lap on the first day of testing, was fifth using race tires and electing not to test the new software that Gigi Dall’Igna had brought in.

Test riders Alex Hoffman (Aprilia) and Steve Martin (BMW) were also working with their respective test teams.
