The Italian rider Daniele Beretta and the Belgian Xavier Simeon will race in the Ducati Xerox Junior Team in 2009 with the Ducati 1098R.
The team will participate again in the Superstock 1000 FIM World Cup.
Xavier Simeon, rode this year in the Superstock 1000 category and finished at fourth position with 136 points in the general standings.
The Belgian achieved 5 podium places which includes his two wins.
He is very happy, saying it’s a new experience for him.
Daniele Beretta, is new in the Cup and rode in the European Superstock 600 series.
He finished this year in 6th position.
Team Manager Serafino Foti said: “We are very happy to welcome Xavier Simeon and Daniele Beretta to the team.
Xavier is one of the most talented riders in the 1000cc category and we are confident he will be able to help us to continue the winning streak that has seen us take the last two championship titles.
Daniele is very young and new to the category but I’m sure that team-work and the presence of a more experience team-mate will help Daniele to grow professionally and achieve some strong results.
