Valentino Rossi’s two part marathon interview on Chiambretti Night ahead of the last Sunday’s Qatar GP generated a lot on the web controversy, especially his snarky comments on his MotoGP rivals, but it wasn’t only that.
Rossi being the superstar racer he is, gets to meet a lot of high profile fans, royalty, actors, VIP’s and in this part of the video he talks about meeting Tom Cruise just before the 2008 Laguna Seca still talked about battle with Casey Stoner.

The Italian remembers telling Cruise that he hoped that he’d race like Cole Trickle in Days of Thunder who was using racing number #46, with Cruise saying that the important thing is that you don’t crash before the race.
Rossi being highly superstitious said laughing, that he did the whole warm-up lap touching himself and warding off the eventual curse.
Even questions like if riders get any action from those sexy brolly girls came up, with Chiambretti remembering Marco Simoncelli (who was interviewed the month before) who said that he’s never got any, because the girls arrive on Sunday and the riders are too tense to even think about sex and after the race when you’ve might have done well and want to have fun, the girls are already gone.

Rossi confirmed this, saying that he thinks he’s never been with a brolly girl, because for several years he had his own personal brolly girl (Isabella, the blonde) who was the girlfriend and now wife of his friend, and on the starting grid you’re so concentrated and psyching yourself up you barely see these sexy half dressed girls.
Check out the second video of Rossi getting more eye candy and using even more restraint, his girlfriend Marwa Klebi was in the audience.
