When Casey Stoner returns to Estoril after his ten week break to recover from his fatigue illness, he might find a chilly reception waiting for him by Ducati’s main sponsor, Phillip Morris.
According to Sportmediaset Marlboro, did not appreciate the Aussie’s ‘vacation’ from the championship.
Talking to Maurizio Arrivabene, Marlboro’s Deputy Chairman, who also sponsors the Ferrari team and is in Singapore for the Formula 1 race, commented: ” I hope that Stoner at Estoril will have the decency to apologize to the team.

”These words from Marlboro’s deputy chairman leave us open to more speculation about Stoner’s true ailment.
If Marlboro was informed by Livio Suppo of Stoner’s physical condition and gave them a doctor’s diagnosis, why should they ask the Aussie rider to apologize to anyone for being ill? Arrivabene also denied that they have intention of bringing Valentino Rossi to Ducati and confirmed that Stoner will be with them in 2010.
