2012 World Superbike champion Max Biaggi still has to confirm whether he is going to continue racing next season or finally hang up his lid and retire after a glorious career and six world titles.
The Aprilia rider was present during the two-day winter SBK test at the Motorland Aragon last month, but an official announcement confirming a new deal with Aprilia is late in coming and the situation is keeping fans on pins and needles, especially now that Biaggi has announced that he will be holding a special press conference at the Vallelunga circuit on Wednesday November 7th at 5pm.
The Roman Emperor has publicly said he would like to continue in 2013, but calling for press conference seems a pretty odd manner to make a normal contract extension announcement and the choice of Vallelunga makes it strangely suspicious (he started his career at the track), so you’ll have check back with us next Wednesday to get the latest news on Biaggi.
