Moto Morini Granpasso 1200

The guys over at Motociclismo have done a preview test of the new Moto Morini Granpasso 1200.
On the site of the Italian monthly you can find full test details of this maxienduro.
The new bike from the Morini Company has aggressive lines characterised by a new front and frame.

The tank (at 25 litres) is designed to allow for a more forward riding position.

Comfort is enhanced by adequate aerodynamic protection.
The longer seat prevents forward sliding and double handles allow for great passenger comfort.
The Granpasso 1200 is equipped with a twin cylinder Bialbero CorsaCorta engine at 1187 cc.

It’s compact with a V layout at 87 degrees for the cyclinders and an innovative carter integrated solution.
The engine has been designed by Franco Lambertini and is aimed at improving performance at lower revs and reducing consumption.
The frame is made from high-resistance steel tubes from Verlicchi and have been exclusively created for Moto Morini.
The maxienduro has a Marzocchi Magnum fork with reverse 50mm valves, made from light aluminium.
The rear has a single, lateral shock absorber from Ohlins, which is fully adjustable.

The brakes are from Brembo with radial pump combined with semi-floating discs at 298mm for the front, while for the rear we find a single-disc 255 mm with two pistons.
The digital instrument panel is impressive and easily leggible.
The controls are easy to reach, being placed on the handles.
