Niccolò Antonelli undergoes shoulder surgery

Gresini’s Moto3 rider Niccolò Antonelli has undergone surgery on his right shoulder following a training accident that may put his partecipation in the the first Moto3 tests scheduled for the 12th to the 14th of February at Valencia at risk.
The 17-year old Antonelli posted the news on his Facebook page with the relative photo lying in bed following the surgery that was performed by the now renowed Dr.

Porcellini (he did the shoulder surgery on Valentino Rossi) that took place at the Cattolica Hospital.
“Hello everyone, I’m not used to revealing a lot of things about about me … But this time I have a reason to say something important.
I would like to thank Carlo (Vale’s trainer) for helping me in a time of difficulty and especially Dr.
Porcellini who with his special and valuable team first visited me and and then operated on my right shoulder after an incident that I had while I was training.
