Paola Cazzola will be returning to the World Supersport Championship with a new team.
Cazzola who was to race an entire season in the series, suddenly disappeared from the Kuja Racing Team after just fours rounds to be replaced by Andrea Boscoscuro and now be making a comeback with team Elle 2 Ciatti, which has it’s home base in Rome.
The female rider penned the new deal during the third round of the Italian CIV championship and she’ll be riding a Yamaha R6 in this upcoming WSS round at Misano.
“I’m very happy to be returning to WSS for our home race and on track that I can show all my potential,” said Cazzola “Thanks to Team Elle 2 Ciatti, I’ll also be at the Imola, and the French (MagnyCours) and German (Nurburgring) rounds and we are also discussing the possibility of going to Brno.
”“These two months of inactivity have been so long and I can’t wait to get back in the saddle, more determined than ever.
I’d like to thank the team, the sponsors and all the people who have been close to me and who are helping me to continue living my dream.
