This week we’ve been looking at fines in Italy for motorcycling infringements.
Riding with the number plate up is an old trick used by riders to escape speed cameras – but some have even gone beyond that.
A rider, discovered by road patrol police, had actually installed an automatic mechanism with a control on the handle, that would raise the number plate on command.

A genius mechanism, but completely illegal, that you can see in the below video.
