Dani Pedrosa taking it day by day after surgery

A little less than a week has gone by since Dani Pedrosa underwent surgery to fix his fractured collarbone and the Spanish rider has decided to give an update on his physical condition via his blog sponsored by Repsol, but his partecipation at the Barcelona GP is still iffy.

“Quiet days after my operation last week.

The doctors told me I had to be stay in bed and rest a full week, so I’m at home following medical advice.
Virtually I couldn’t move the area, because in these early days I don’t have the strength, but recovery is going well.

Experience tells me that these days I should focus on recovering as best as possible and follow medical advice to the letter.
The priority now is to recover as much as possible from the injury and get back into shape to ride the bike.
Logically, if it’s Barcelona, the better, but there are limits.
Pedrosa will start rehabilitation tomorrow with physiotherapists and judge his recovery progress on a day to day basis before deciding to race in two weeks time.
