Jeremy Irons picks up his BMW R1200 GS

Oscar winning actor Jeremy Irons, is currently in Hungary filming the the television series ‘The Borgias,’ in which he plays Rodrigo Borgia, also known as Pope Alexander VI.
The popular English actor usually rides BMW R100RT (and belonged to the famous Guggenheim Motorcycle Club) wanted another bike to use during his stay in Budapest and opted for the highly popular and revamped R 1200 GS, that he picked up at BMW Hungary and will be using until the beginning of December.

“I like working in Hungary, but I haven’t had the chance yet to get to know the country by motorcycle.
I have been to Esztergom by car and I will definitely go back on a bike because I really liked it.

The Hungarian landscapes are beautiful, although I do miss the high mountains and winding mountain roads a bit.
My wife often comes with me on my trips, and we are both happy to have the opportunity to discover the countryside with a BMW Enduro bike since this is the brand we use back home in the United Kingdom.

Fortunately, we have also received a lot of great route tips to choose from, along with the motorcycle,” said Irons.
