The Top Gear Stunt Live team had set a World Record with double loop-the-loop on four wheels with a specially built buggy in Durban, South Africa last June, but apparently not satisfied they attempted – and succeded – with the same stunt, but this time using a motocross bike.
The stunt aptly dubbed “Deadly 720+” was performed at the NEC show at Birmingham by an extraordinary Gary Hoptrough, who rode a standard KTM 250 SX-F (with recalibrated suspensions) around the same two eight meter tall steel loops that put the team in the Guinness Book of World Records for the second time.
