This beautiful Suzuki Katana makeover has been produced by Steve, who has done an exceptional job with preserving what is still a classic, 80’s retro bike.
This new Katana 1100 has a Wiseco piston kit, gas flowed head, EFE 1100 cams with adjustable cam sprockets and Keihin 37mm carburetors.
Other technical modifications include titanium bolts on the engine and a Racefit custom-built titanium exhaust system.
Steve has also added K4 GSX-R750 front fork, rear Ohlins shock absorbers, and the brakes are Brembo with a mix of components from the Yamaha R1 and Suzuki TL1000.
The Katana also has a Suzuki Bandit 1200 swing arm and 17-inch Dymag alloy wheels.
That’s a very cool kit, and aesthetically-speaking, it all works.
Steve says the whole lot, including the original bike, cost about 6,000 pounds, with most parts coming from mates or online auction sites.
