Husqvarna took to the 2010 EICMA show with some impressive equipment and we’re not just talking the unusual Husqvarna Mille 3 concept.
While we’re not sure what they’re going to do with that model, the big news for 2011 is the Husqvarna SMR449 and SMR511 supermotard models.
Both have been developed off a mix of the enduro and motocross platforms and push the limit in terms of big, powerful supermotard models.
The SM range has seen some improvements to the fuel injection system for the new year, while it seems Husqvarna is particularly taken with the SMR630 model in what they call “a racing spirit in a ’street’ bike” and an “Urban Cross” model.
Apart from the technology, Husqvarna’s work on the design has paid off and we have some good looking models on our hands.
The SMR630 in particular has all-Italian design and styling in a totally reworked bike.
It’s definitely a dirt bike gone city cool and now includes more comfort features like double padding on the seat.
