Marco Melandri – MotoGP's Dr. Freud

Marco Melandri has published on his website his own personal interpretation of Jorge Lorenzo’s post race celebration at Le Mans, where the Spanish rider sat in front of a giant screen watching the race and eating popcorn.
Lorenzo’s gag was very cool, according to Dr.
Melandri, but it was also contained a very subtle message aimed at Valentino Rossi, and what was this sublimal message that the layman didn’t grasp? Jorge Lorenzo was sitting on a yellow chair.

Yellow … the Doctor’s signature colour.
Melandri wrote in his blog diary:” “I was riding through and saw Lorenzo sitting in front of the screen and I thought he want’s to enjoy watching his victory, but no! Re-watching it, the chair was yellow, just like Valentino’s … Which meant : I, Lorenzo will take your place on your yellow chair because I’m sitting here watching you cross the finish line because I’ve already beaten you there”.

Macio also gives his opinion that the “aliens” don’t exist, that Rossi will end up in Formula 1 before he ever switches to Ducati and leaving the best bike to Lorenzo (where have we heard that one?).

What do you think, is Melandri’s analysis right or should he just stick to motorcycle racing and leave the psychoanalysis to the experts?
