Juicy news from Ducati? It certainly looks like it, at least according to English magazine Motorcycle News, which has even put forward the possible look (as in the photo above) of a brand new model that could be presented at the next Eicma show in Milan.
The name would be Hyperfighter, and like the name, the bike would be without comprises: created for riding purists and entirely based on the new Ducati 1098R.
The Hyperfighter would also introduce some new aspects for the company, first among which the DIES (Ducati Integrated Exhaust System), which would be a new magnesium exhausted integrated into the support structure of the seat.
This would be to keep weight contained, while protection against Ducati heat could be achieved through isolation technology of NASA derivation.

To all this, the extensive use of carbon will be added and we could be seeing weight contained at record levels.
