Jorge “Aspar” Martinez will be fielding only Spanish riders next season in all three of his racing teams.
The powerful manager has picked up Hector Faubel after he was dropped from Marc VDS Moto2 racing team and will field him in the final year of the 125cc class with Nico Terol and will run Javier Forés alongside Julian Simon in Moto2.

Faubel will be returning to 125cc after previously spending two seasons in the 250cc and Moto2 classes, while Forés won the this year’s CEV Buckler Stock Extreme championship title on a BMW S1000RR and has already competed on a Moto2 in several CEV races and in three GP races this season.

Jorge Martinez: “It is an enormous satisfaction to be able to complete the Aspar Team with two Valencian riders, from our home.
Xavi Forés is a young rider who can have much success in Moto2.
It will be his first complete year in the world championship and we will have to work hard, but we believe in him.
Xavi and Julito can give good results to the MAPFRE Aspar Team next year.

Also, the return of Héctor Faubel to the Bancaja Aspar Team demonstrates that the riders who have been with us always have been very satisfied.
I am proud that he has returned, we hope that he fights with Nico for the title”.
