Motocross training strikes again.
The latest victim of this type of training is Aspar’s Moto3 rider Jonas Folger.
The German rider who is currently fourth in the Moto3 standings crashed while training in Mantova (Italy) with Moto2 Desguaces La Torre SAG’s rider Marcel Schrötter, and suffered a fracture to his right wrist.
“With the bad luck I had last Wednesday, I had a silly fall and hurt myself,” said Folger speaking to the official MotoGP website.
“It appears as though I have cracked a bone in my right wrist, so I’m resting it in order to recover as soon as possible.
I hurts a little, but it is getting better every day.
”Folger will assess his fitness during Friday’s opening practice session in Barcelona, and then decide whether he can continue.
