Historic Arai helmets stolen

It appears that the thief could be an avid collector, or otherwise expert in historic motorcycle memorabilia, to have perpetrated the theft of some Arai helmets from the company’s headquarters at Newcastle on Lyme, on the night of February 24.

Five Arai helmets have been stolen, including NR3 and Quantum replica models, with autographs, from famous champions Barry Sheene, Freddie Spencer, Joey Dunlop, Randy Mamola and Lewis Hamilton.

Arai Managing Director John Wakefield has said that the helmets are priceless and irreplaceable.

If anyone has any information, they are encouraged to contact the company.
