Triumph Scrambler Amazonia by Ton-Up Garage

Today’s special bike comes from Portugal, where Pedro Oliveira and Daniel Cabral of Ton-Up Garage have taken a 2012 Triumph Scrambler and turned it into this fascinating special bikes that was specifically requested by an off-road loving customer.

The standard motorcycle already oozes the spirit of the 60s from every bolt, but this military-looking rendition – dubbed Amazonia – takes that to an even higher level.

In order to emphasize its off-road capabilities, the good guys from Leça da Palmeira – near Porto – got rid straightawat of the stock suspension, with Öhlins progressive springs fork and new rear shocks coming in place, and then ditched also the standard airbox, which got replaced it with a better one.

More off-road oriented pegs and handlebars as well as the mandatory knobby tires were installed, with a new tail light by Lucas and a dual exhaust system by Italian specialist Zard providing the bike with even more personality.
A cool military matte green/black paint job, the diminutive Motogadget gauge, an old jerrican fitted on the left side for a luggage box and the Ton-Up custom fabricated leather saddle complete the job.

Looking at the beautiful Triumph Scrambler Amazonia, it’s not hard to figure out why Ton-Up Garage is quickly becoming one of the coolest name in the business.
