As usual Valentino Rossi is donning a special one off helmet for his home race ahead of the Gran Premio Aperol di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini.
Instead of the sun and moon motif, Rossi’s helmet designed by Aldo Drudi, has big alarm clock clock marking the time at five minutes before the session’s start, with the hour that can be changed before each session and the date is also changeable.

The helmet is also Rossi’s ironic way of saying that he has to wake-up and get moving.
