Ducati North America has announced that Team NCR, officially sponsored, will compete in the 2008 championship of Parts Canada Superbike with two Ducati 848 Superbikes racing in the Canadian Thunder National category.
The two riders of team NCR will be the Supertwins 2007 European champion Valter Bartolini, and the young Canadian rider Andrew Nelson, winner of the R.
A.
C.
E championship in the Supersport Class 2007, and ranked number two in Superbike 2007.
The two Ducati 848 Superbikes will be prepared by NCR.
The team will be guided by Joe Ippoliti, NCR’s C.

O who said: “This is a great opportunity for NCR and Ducati to work together again to support the Canadian Thunder Championship.
The 848 is a fantastic bike, appropriate for the races and we’re working to create a competitive team, developing and applying our know-how and our technology’s new components that we will use to better prepare the 848.
We’re inviting all Ducati fans to come together at our stand during the races of the Canadian championship, the AMA and also to follow us in the European circuit.
We have an ambitious aim and therefore we hope to achieve much success.
”The first race will be from the 22nd to the 25th of May in Calabogie, Ontario.
