While Bradley Smith and Jenson Button are going to partecipate in London’s Trialthon for their favorite charities, a pair of jeans owned by Australian MotoGP star Casey Stoner were auctioned off at the annual Jeans for Genes Charity Auction Dinner.
The jeans were personally signed by Casey and incorporated into a painting by the acclaimed artist Nafisa Naomi.
Stoner’s jeans fetched the highest bid of $20,000, and the money will go towards scientific research into genetic childhood disorders at the Sydney-based Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI).
Chris Vermeulen also donated a pair of jeans that were painted by artist Paul Dorin, that you can see after the jump.
