Honda’s new CBR1000RR will be presented for 2009 with only one, but substantial, novelty – the introduction of the integrated sports braking system ABS-CBS, which will be available as an optional.
The brake system has been introduced on the CBR600RR as well, guaranteeing greater braking performance and safety.
The Honda CBR1000RR will be the motorcycle to beat in this category, in terms of technology, versatility and performance.
The ABS combined system is available in Pearl Sunbeam White/Repsol replica, and includes an independent smaller motor, while at the rear of the bike the ECU electronic system is held.
The model with electronic ABS has the added touch of racing colour calipers in Sherry Topaz Brown Metallic.
The superbike remains as is, with 999cc for 130kw at 12,000 rpm.
The exhaust has a double valve, the front fork is 43mm with 120mm of travel, and the shock absorber is Unit-Pro link with 135mm of travel.
Colours include the 2008 range Graphite Black, Pearl Sunbeam White, Winning Red and Graphite Black/Glory Red, while new chrome colours for the 50th Honda anniversary are available, equipped with the new ABS system.
