MotoGPs 2012 provisional calendar was released today and starts with season night race opener in Qatar, and will have to wait to April 15th to see the first race as it’s scheduled three weeks later than this year.
Looking over the listed venues you can see that two circuits are still subject to contract renewal as Jerez de la Frontera who is dire financial problems, but is being being helped out the Andulcian Tourist and Sports Board and also the Portughese circuit of Estoril, while the Sachsenring circuit is not even mentioned.

Dorna still has to announce if there will be a German round, with Lausitzring or Nurburging being assumed as replacing the well-attended Sachsenring.
Laguna Seca and Indianapolis are now back-to-back, which will no doubt save some pretty hefty transportation fees and will make the MotoGP teams happy so they can now slot in a vacation in the US between the two rounds and there will be three very intense flyaway rounds (Motegi, Sepang and Phillip Island) all in October, before the season closes at Valencia.
