The NCR Ducati 848 has won again, this time at the twisting and bumpy Atlantic Motorsport Park track in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia.
The two riders, Andrew Nelson and the Italian Valter Bartolini were riding with big smiles on their faces enjoying the wild corners of the racetrack.
In race one Andrew’s shift lever broke and was leaving the bike in neutral after the first lap and Valter finished ahead of Michael Leon on his KTM with Michael Ferrera in third riding a BMW.
In race two, both riders got a good start and Andrew broke the class track record with a 1:09.
173 leading the race before Valter.
Valter Bartolini is leading the Superbike Series in the Thunder Class with 256 points, team mate Andrew Nelson is second with 209 points.
Third the Buell rider Darren James holds 198 points followed by Michael Ferrera, the BMW rider with 196 points.
The final round is on August 28-31 at Shannonville, Ontario.
