Nicky Hayden will be at Mugello tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday for the final two days of a three day private test that Ducati’s test team is currently carrying out at the Italian track.
Hayden who finished sixth in Qatar, will be joining official test rider Franco Battaini to try to make up for the testing time he lost during the pre-season tests due to the injuries picked up in the final GP race at Valencia and his training accident in December.
Team mate Valentino Rossi who finished a lowly 10th in Qatar, will not be present as the team does not have any current development updates to test (despite his protests) and Ducati is saving on the tire allotment that they have at their disposal this season for testing.
