WSBK Brno Race 2 – Ben Spies Takes 11th Victory

Ben Spies took his 11th victory in Race 2 at Brno and cut the championship lead to seven points from Noriyuki Haga.
Spies took the lead of the race from Troy Corser at the second turn, follwed by Michel Fabrizio and race 1 winner Max Biaggi.
The two Italians diced it out for at least five laps with Biaggi finally getting past Fabrizio and making it stick, then set his sights on the Texas Terror.

Biaggi sat on Spies tail shadowing the American, but Spies rode his Yamaha defensively and prefectly never letting Biaggi find an open door to put the nose of the Aprilia through.
Spies would cross the finish line in front of the Roman Emperor.
Fabrizio was third, fourth and fifth going Honda Ten Kate riders Jonathan Rea and Carlos Checa.
Sixth went to the heroic Noriyuki Haga, two place up from race 1 and was able to to beat Shane Byrne and Troy Corser, and holding off Tom Sykes.

Jakub Srmz finished 9th while Troy Corser had to settle for tenth.
