Casey Stoner and wife Adriana are currently vacationing in Italy on Lake Garda and the Repsol Honda rider took advantage of the great weather we’re finally having to spend a day at the the South Garda Karting facility and try his hand at karting again.
Stoner who has had lessons from 6 times Australian and 48 State Champion Remo Luciani in South Wales on a Monaco kart, drove a Birel 125 this time and talking to Bresciaoggi said, “I’m back in this superb go-kart track for some fun.
When I was in Lonato in November the circuit very wet and I couldn’t do many laps, so I focused on the set-up of the karts, along with the mechanics of the Birel team, and I couldn’t enjoy the track.
This time I did a lot of laps and I enjoyed it a lot.
The atmosphere is really nice and this circuit is fantastic for a day to do some tests and have fun.
