Erik Buell Racing (ERB), the company created by Erik Buell from the ashes of the old Buell, has posted on its Facebook page this image of what appears to be the already known EBR 1190RS (the only model so far produced by the house in an initial production run of 100 units, all of which on sale in the United States at the considerable price of $ 40,000) but with a substantial innovation: it can accommodate a passenger.

At least visually, the only new things we see are the seat and footrests for the passenger, but this could actually be the future model ‘RX’, which has been announced as a tamed-down version of the 1190RS and will come with less valuable in component and less performance, but will be cheaper.
Equipped with a 1190 cc V-twin engine capable of developing 175 horsepower at 9,750 rpm and 131 Nm of torque at 9,400 rpm, the EBR 1190RS uses aluminum frame and swingarm, 43 mm upside-down fork and TTX rear shock from Swedish specialist Öhlins, the inevitable perimeter floating front disc brake system and has a curb weight of just over 176 kg.

The recent foreign investments allowed EBR to widen its production facilities and begin to work on three new models which have already been named SX (a naked), AX (an adventure-bike), and the aforementioned RX.
So the future looks quite bright for Erik Buell at moment, and knowing his wit and determination we just cannot wait to see the next wave of EBR-badged products that will lead the resurgence of the brend.
