Thai rider Ratthapark Wilairot will be officially riding for Gresini in this season’s Moto2 championship and he’ll be doing it under the banner of “Thai Honda PTT Gresini Moto2″ thanks to Thai Honda, PTT and Federal Oil.
The announcement came last week in a Honda presentation in Thailand, and ‘Feem’ after testing the Moriwaki MD600 at Valencia and Jerez will be joining Gino Rea.
This will be Wilairot’s sixth season in GP racing between 250cc and Moto2 (previously with SAG) and he’ll continue using his #14 which represents his birth date.
AP Honda will also be supporting four other motorcycle racers in the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, Thitipong “Tingnote” Warokorn, Ratthapark’s brother Ratthapong “Float” Wilairot, Apiwat “Stamp” Wongthananon and Kanathat “Fong” Jaiman.
