Niccolò Canepa who started the season with RSM Scot Racing on a Scot Force GP210 until Rapid Inside NCS withdrew their support from the Sammarinese team, then rode a Suter MMX at Brno until the team folded under financial difficulties.
Canepa then found a place with Bimota-M Racing and took part in the Misano Adriatico and Aragon rounds, but now finds himself without a team again after being axed.
The unlucky Italian will be replaced at this weekend’s Moto2 round at Motegi by 28 year old Hiromichi Kunikawa, who’ll finish the season with the Rimini based team.
Kunikwawa is currently 5th in the All Japan ST600 series where he rides a Honda CBR 600RR for team 92R Hirano.
