For his home races Valentino Rossi always debuts a special edition helmet and this morning in FP3 sported this new ‘boxer’ helmet design on his AGV lid.
The cartoon, designed by Aldo Drudi, shows that Rossi hasn’t lost his sense of humor despite the two very difficult seasons in Ducati, he’s beat-up, almost punchy and on the ropes with a black eye, mouses and bandages and missing a couple of teeth and on the top of the helmet is written Come vado? (How am I doing?).

On the boxing gloves instead of Everlast, there’s a sort of ‘Italianglish’ with semprelast (always last) and his two inseparable bulldogs, Cecilia and Cesare are also wearing gloves and there’s also Marco Simoncelli’s #58.
