The Ducati 1199 Panigale will not be competing only in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup, but will also be debuting in this season’s British Superbike championship.
Two teams, Moto Rapido and Jentin Doodson Motorsport will be debuting the new Superbike and this is the RS model for racing teams only and costs about £80,000 and was delivered to Ducati UK at Silverstone.

Riding for Moto Rapido will be Scott Smart (son of the legendary Paul who won the 200 Miglia Imola in 1972 on a Ducati) and Saudi Abdulaziz Bin Laden (a two-time UAE superbike champion and a third generation member of the very large and extensive Bin Laden family).

Campaigning for Jentin Doodson Motorsport will be co-owner Tom Tunstell and Alex Polita, who has already tested the 1199 Superbike at Vallelunga last Wednesday.
