To celebrate the Superbike 2008 victory and the renewed partnership with sponsor Puma, Ducati has created a new version of the 1098R called the Puma Edition.
The 1098R Puma Edition has been built in only a series of ten motorcycles to be sold on the Japanese market.
It has original colours with a white Puma logo on a red background.

Each motorcycle is specially marked with a number on the upper stem of the fork, and is sold at a price of 35,000 euros.

As sales started in December, we can only imagine that the Puma Edition Ducati is no longer available.
It would have been interesting to see if in Italy it would have had the same success.
