The biggest news ahead of the 2013 World Supersport Championship was the deal signed late last month between ParkinGO and MV Agusta, however the team has yet to official announce which rider will be spearheading their campaign on the three-cylinder F3 675.
Luca Scassa has been linked to the ride – and recent rumors have the Italian having already have signed a contract, but Scassa’s management released the following brief statement on his Facebook page denying that he has penned a deal with the team.
Due to media comments and news about the deal between Luca Scassa and ParkinGO MV Agusta Team competing the World Supersport Championship in 2013, I would like to inform you all that the any decision is not been taken yet nor any deal is been made up to now.
“It’s clear that with the succeses I had with MV Agusta in my career and my personal relationships that keep me close to the brand, MV Agusta covers a special place in my heart and it would be an enormous pleasure for me to be part of the project again.
Anyway, at the moment, no deal has been made yet and we’re valuing the MV Agusta possibility just as the other interesting proposals.
At convenient time it will be with extreme satisfaction that we’ll comunicate next season’s choice.
