Suzuki presents the final version of the Inazuma 250, a motorcycle clearly designed and built to suit the current situation of the motorcycle market and, generally speaking, the faltering global economy of these days.
The model was initially presented at the NEC in Birmingham almost a year ago, and now it is finally ready to invade the European markets with 3000 units in the first year.

Reliability and costs are the cornerstones on which the Japanese manufaturer has based the entire project, without neglecting – of course – other essential aspects such as design, functionality, emissions, user-friendliness and quality finish.

The engine is a liquid-cooled 248 cc DOHC flat twin, mated to a 6-speed transmission and capable of delivering 25 hp with 22 Nm of torque.
As for the chassis, we have a double cradle steel frame, telescopic fork and mono-shock absorber, single disc brakes at both front (290 mm) and rear (240 mm) and 17″ aluminum alloy rims.
Definitely worth mentioning are also the large and modern instrumentation cluster – with gear indicator! – and that cool pair of classic-looking chrome mufflers.

With these features, a dry weight of 172 kg (182 kg in running order) and aesthetics clearly inspired by the ‘big sister’ B-King (with the obvious exception of the oversized underseat end-cans), the Suzuki Inazuma 250 deliberately presents itself as a pretty unusual model, whose positioning in the market is quite difficult given the lack of a real reference segment and – by extention – a direct competitor.

The Suzuki Inazuma 250 will be on sale from € 3,990 ex-dealer in its ’standard’ configuration, while the ‘Plus’ variant (with center stand and a 26-liter top case) will be available at € 4,290.
