Troy Bayliss Will NOT Be Making a Comeback

It wasn’t a pleasant day at the World Ducati Week at Misano for Troy Bayliss fans.
The three times World Superbike champion, less than a month after saying he had retired to early and was missing racing and wanted to make a comeback, has done an about face and during yesterday’s press conference, announcing that he will not be come out of retirement nor will he wild card at the WSBK round at Misano at the end of June.

Why did Baylisstic decide not to return? According to the Aussie, who tested at the Mugello in the middle of May setting a best time time of 1:51.
9 on the Ducati 1198R and has been testing at Misano with Noriyuki Haga and Michel Fabrizio and the other SBK Ducati riders during the WDW, found out sometimes wishing is one thing, but a reality check is another.
“I love riding the bike and I love winning races, but I found out here that it’s not always like that.

When I tested here I found out that things weren’t going that good and we ended up going around in circles.

That’s when it hit me and it was hard things like that that I didn’t miss about racing.
That completely I changed my mind and I spoke too early.
Bayliss concluded with: “I don’t want to come back racing and I don’t want to do any wild cards.
I’m retired and I’m happy.
