The site Solomoto30 reports that Honda has sped up its project of the CB1100F, presented at the Tokyo show in 2007 as a four cylinder, retro style concept.
This could mean that Honda will anticipate the market launch of this final version of the naked, as what happened with the Fury chopper model.

There is no news, however, as to when or where this presentation will take place.
The CB1100F represents the heir to the much loved Honda CB 750 Four, a four cylinder naked that was made in 1969, meaning that 2009 would be the 40th anniversary of the previous model.

The 1100 has a four-stroke, four-cylinder air cooled engine, matched to a frame and suspensions with a retro look that is quite captivating.
