Niccolò Canepa will be forced to miss this weekend’s Nurburgring round – and probably the rest of the season – after suffering a big crash during the second free practice.
The Red Devils Roma rider who was already suffering from a shoulder injury was diagnosed with a compound fracture of his right tibia and fibula (6 breaks) amd will have to undergo surgery in the next few hours at the Josef Krankenhaus Clinic at Adenau, just a few miles from the German circuit.
Canepa had qualified 14th for the Superpole.
