One of the biggest worries that is afflicting Dorna’s CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta is that Suzuki may decide to do what Kawasaki did at the end of 2008, and pull out of MotoGP before their contract is actually up in 2011.
Suzuki is one of the worst performing teams in the premier classand this not withstanding the amount of development that everyone keeps saying that has gone into the GSV-R and that the Rizla Suzuki team may get a waiver to use more engines for the rest of this season.

Many think that the team will fall back even further in 2011, when the 800cc will see out their last season before the new 1000cc rules goes into effect in 2012 and that further investments would be just throwing away more money, however according to team manager Paul Denning speaking to British Eurosport at the Brands Hatch BSB round yesterday said that he is “100%” sure Suzuki will remain in MotoGP for 2011, but could not offer further confirmation that the team would remain in MotoGP after that date.

Alvaro Bautista is under contract for next year, but Loris Capirossi, who lead the development of Japanese machine in these last two years is completely disappointed with the lack of results and is already deep in talks with Pramac Ducati for next season with former MotoGP rider Toni Elias, who currently leads the standings in Moto2 widely tipped for the vacant seat in Rizla Suzuki.
