Guest of Honour at the 30th Pukekohe Classic Motorcycle Festival in New Zealand, Kevin Schwantz competed in six races on a 1962 Manx Norton and doing what he does best, won all six events that he entered.
Previous famous faces from MotoGP history have made appearances at the festival including Giacomo Agostini, Umberto Masetti, John Surtees and Geoff Duke, but Schwantz is the first former titlist to actuallycompete as part of proceedings.
