Valentino Rossi involved in home accident

MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi has injured his hand and foot after falling at his Italian home.
Reportedly the accident occurred when the Fiat Yamaha star slipped while closing the curtains and fell onto a glass table cutting the ring finger of his left hand and the sole of his left foot.

He went immediately to hospital where he received stitches to each injury, which is understood not to be serious.

A statement released from Yamaha said the Italian will fly to Malaysia as planned, adding: “The injuries are not serious but it is not yet clear whether or not they will make him uncomfortable when riding this week.
