Since the first time we saw it, we rated the MV Agusta Brutale 800 as one of the most most beautiful naked on the market – if not ‘the’ most beautiful and original naked bike out there.
The new Brutale 800 2013 is powered by a new and more powerful 3-cylinder 800 cc engine (the same one equipping the recently unveiled Rivale) and boasts new adjustable suspension and new advanced electronics.
With the F3 675 and Brutale 675 the new Brutale 800 shares most of the components and fundamental technical choices.
The frame consists of a front section steel tube trellis and two aluminium alloy plates, fulcrum point for the long singlesided swingarm.
As for the brakes, we have a pair of 320 mm discs at the front coupled with Brembo four-piston radial calipers and a 220 mm disc at the rear matched to a twin-piston Brembo caliper.
Weighing in at 167 kg and with an output of 125 hp at 11,600 rpm (red line at 13,000 rpm) and a peak torque of 81 Nm at 8.
600 rpm, the Brutale 800 eill come with a pretty strong power-to-weight ratio, and we just cannot help but think it will be yet another success in the marketplace for MV Agusta.
The new Brutale 800 is available in 4 colour combinations: Ruby Metallic Red/Silver, White/Mamba Red, Matt metallic Grey/Pearl White, White/Blue Pearl “Italia”, all of which can be appreciated in our massive photo gallery.
