Marc Marquez’ double-vision problems has yet to clear up.
The 2011 Moto2 World Championship runner-up had to miss the final two races of the season and concede the Moto2 title to Stefan Bradl, has not recovered in time to take part in this week’s Moto2 three day test at Jerez de la Frontera.
A medical check-up last Thursday by Dr.
Jordi Arruga, a neuro-ophtalmologist at the Instituto Catalán de la Retina in Barcelona, confirmed that Marquez’ eyesight has improved but the problem hasn’t totally cleared up enough for him to ride safely.
“As the doctors said we cannot estimate how much time Marc will need to be completely recovered, although the evolution of the injury has been positive, as Dr.
Arruga informed us.
So right now we need to be patient,”said team manager Emilio Alzamora.
