Many of you may have missed it, but Hiroshi Aoyama’s Interwetten Honda team ran the Qatar race without the Interwetten sponsor logo on their bike.
Interwetten.
com is one Europe’s leading online betting sites and since gambling is illegal in Qatar, all the teams running the Interwetten logo had to be covered up and this not only included Aoyama’s Honda RC212V, but also Thomas Luthi Moriwaki MD600 Moto2 bike and Marcel Shrotter’s Honda RS125R.

To get around the technicality and in deference to the Qatari’s, the teams ran the Interwetten logos masked as IW Racing.
