Our favourite prankster and record breaker Colin Furze, has come up with another of his crazy ideas.
After the longest motorbike and the flame throwing scooter, the British plumber decided to modify a mobility scooter and make it into the world’s fastest scooter and grab a second Guinness World Record while he was at it.
Using the engine from his 1997 CR125 motocross bike and rebuilding the frame, adding gears and exhausts, but not allowed to change the outward appearance of the scooter, he broke 71.
59mph at the Santa Pod Raceway, while the previous record was 62mph.
Furze’s scooter gets 10 miles to the gallon and is nearly nine times faster than an average mobility scooter.
“It’s great to have set the record and have the speed clocked officially and fantastic to have gone over 70mph, I’m ecstatic,” said Mr Furze.
