The latest MotoGP round in Misano Adriatico saw Jorge Lorenzo’s chances of clinching his second MotoGP world title getting sky-high with the Spanish rider scoring maximum points and main rival Dani Pedrosa going home with a bag full of regrets and no points whatsoever.
The Honda rider got entangled in chaos at the second start of the race and was forced to watch the red lights turning off from the last spot on the grid (hence throwing his hard earned pole position out of the window), and then, after just four corners, he got torpedoed out of the race by fellow Spaniard Hector Barbera, who found himself in the wrong place at the wrong moment.
Here is our usual collection of pictures taken at the San Marino GP away from the track, showing the MotoGP stars and their teams in the pits, on the pedium, hanging around the paddock and so on.
Sit back and enjoy.
